Extreme heat is the number one weather-related killer in the United States. Infants and the elderly or especially vulnerable to heat stroke and heat exhaustion, but we're all vulnerable when the heat index ("feels like temperature") exceeds 103 degrees Fahrenheit. Be a good citizen by checking on others. When in doubt about the seriousness of someone's condition, always call 911!
